Notice Annual General Meeting

Dear Members,

The Board of Directors of the Prescott-Russell Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to its Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16^th, 2026 at 717 Notre-Dame Street, Embrun (Municipality of Russell Town Hall).

This meeting is convened to receive the reports and financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2025 and elect members to the Board if required.

Workshop Included for Participants

Following the AGM, we are pleased to offer a 2026 Employment Law Update, presented by Me Sébastien Huard from the firm Emond Harnden.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

1. Legal Framework of the Employment Relationship

2. Legislative Updates

• • New developments in force and upcoming in 2026.
  • Changes related to the Employment Standards Act (ESA).
  • Updates concerning the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).

3. Recent Court Decisions and Best Practices

• • Trends in case law regarding dismissal.
  • Obligations related to the duty to accommodate under the Human Rights Code.
